- How to activate coreldraw graphics suite 2017 自由

This may be a long shot, but seeing as Corel support don't seem to grasp the issue I am giving them, I thought I would post here. We have recently bought CorelDRAW Graphics Suite Small Business to upgrade our old X5 product which we have had for a little while. The problem is we have the product registered to a central IT account but our designers are regularly receiving prompts to register the product, a screen which seemingly cannot be bypassed.

The attached screenshot shows this screen. It has been registered on each PC a multitude of times now, but it certainly seems to prompt any new Windows user to do it, but also prompts a user if another Windows user has used the PC in the meantime such as myself when logged on as admin to troubleshoot something. It is essentially stopping our design team working at times as they need to wait for IT to be available to register the application.

I have put it to Corel support and asked whether this is just how it is in the newer version given they haven't come up with a better solution as of yet, but they haven't alluded to this being the case something may be lost in translation though - the most recent attempted "fix" was to delete some local AppData from a user - this hasn't helped and the same prompt appeared again this morning.

I can confirm I have tried one of the unofficial fixes for older versions of renaming RMPCUNLR. DLL - this prevents the program running at all. For the benefit of anyone reading the thread, this is by design. I have only just realised why support have appeared unhelpful - I logged the ticket via Online Chat and the attendant had put the subject as "Errors saying the key is already used". I hadn't noticed this but it is little wonder I was getting led down the garden path! Below is an extract of the reply I have received from Corel now we're all discussing the same thing: "The registration for CorelDRAW triggers when a new user account access or open it for the first time.

That is really normal when you launched CorelDRAW for the first on a new account even if you registered it on your previous account. Once you registered it on a new user account that should not ask for registration when you launch your CorelDRAW again. You used to be able to delete RMPCUNLR. DLL altogether, but I'm reading that that no longer works for X8, so it might not for either.

You could try renaming all instances of that DLL to see if it breaks. Thanks for the reply. I recall only finding one instance of it, renaming which caused an error when trying to start an application. Two of the machines it is installed on are brand new and only just built. Same 'issue' on 3 different machines. Unsure about whether any port blocking could be part of the issue - I would have expected support to have mentioned that over the last week I have been engaged with them if that could be a problem.

Port 80 is going through. It does register OK, just asks again if the Windows user changes I believe. I may need to get Corel to register the licences to a different account that they have the password for and it is looking likely I will need to do that.

Hopefully Corel support will give me a definitive on it at some point! This topic has been locked by an administrator and is no longer open for commenting. It might be an error inside of the application. Frostyck wrote: Seems like a silly question, but have you completely nuked and re-installed the application? No, it's just the way Corel designed it. Very stupid design. Spice 2 flag Report. A firewall could be blocking that process. Just winging that idea out there.

Corel uses port 80 for registration. Spice 1 flag Report. If port 80 was being blocked, you'd have bigger problems. Would it be feasible to just give the end users the info to register?

Quite though web traffic can be proxied, of course I may need to get Corel to register the licences to a different account that they have the password for and it is looking likely I will need to do that. lock This topic has been locked by an administrator and is no longer open for commenting.
